The Evansville Museum has in recent years expanded its exhibits and renovated halls to include the Koch Immersion Theater and Planetarium, Cafe, and interactive learning centers for kids, making it a great destination for those rainy days! It houses “a permanent collection of more than 50,000 objects including fine art, decorative arts, photographs, historic documents, anthropological, ethnographic and natural history artifacts.”

At Vertical eXcape beginners are introduced to climbing in a safe and structured manner, while advanced climbers are offered a year-round training facility to fine-tune techniques while promoting healthier lifestyles.” Note: All Participants must complete a Vertical eXcape Waiver prior to climbing. Visitors may explore zoo grounds until 5 pm, however, last admittance is at 4 pm and the exhibit buildings close at 4:30pm.
